Daisy

10 years old

The story of Daisy couldn't be told without her momma.  Like a lot of us, Daisy got a good start with her momma, Razzy.  (You can read more about Razzy in the "Memorial" section).  Daisy was born in our care before we were a sanctuary.  She was foaled in 2015.  Daisy is our first mule as her momma was a Paint quarterhorse and her sire was a Mammoth Jack Donkey.  Daisy came to us as a surprise and a gift!  She has a unique personality and a strong spirit of courage.  Mules live over thirty years and I expect to have her at the sanctuary all of that time.  Daisy is the herd's strong-willed teenager, and she blends well with many of the horses.  And being a mule, she has a very protective instinct.

Sponsorship provides steady, monthly care for this horse.

Your support helps provide hay, nutritional supplements, veterinary cost, and the daily needs that allow them to live peacefully within the herd. Our objective is that each horse at Cimarron is supported by a small circle of monthly sponsors, ensuring their care remains consistent throughout the year for each horse.
